446 | Standing out in Namibia

WELFARE, CONSERVATION & TOURISM

This something special Krumhuk Farm with its 8000 ha upland savannah is operated on biodynamic principles and is home to a multi-cultural community of about 80 people.

Products produced are sold on a weekly GreenMarket and Arts and Crafts products are sold at the farm and at selected craft shops. People with children on the farm can make use of the Farm Kindergarten and children in school age can attend the farm's Aris Primary School. Once the children completed school they can attend the public Agricultural Training Centre Krumhuk.

But Krumhuk Farm is not only for people living and working here, visitors to Namibia are also welcome to enjoy this paradise. Guests can experience the private game reserve while staying in one of the guesthouses.

BirdsConTour praised Krumhuk Farm for these special efforts with the presentation of a three penguin-rated Welfare, Conservation and Tourism 2016 Support Award.
